Here are some responses to our work:

Dr Clare O' Hagan took part in the Euraxess training sponsored by the EU Commission (DG Research) ...organized for 40 national Bridgehead Representatives from European countries, in Budapest on 11 December,2017.

The objective of the training was to sensitize participants to the issue of Gender in Research, to provide them with tools in order to implement changes in their organizations, and to help them identifying possible actions they could take in this regard.  The training lasted 2.5 hours and was conducted to the great satisfaction of the participants.

Clare worked closely with me to understand the needs of group, and delivered a highly effective workshop.  I am happy to recommend Clare and The Equality Business for similar work in future.

Brigitte Ernst,  Euraxess Mobility Centre, Université de Liège

The seminar Clare facilitated for us as part of Trinity Postgrad week in March 2017 was excellent. Clare worked closely with us to devise a seminar programme that would meet the needs of our postgrads and be both engaging and thorough. She explained clearly how postgraduate students could integrate a sex and gender analysis into their research proposals, projects and very importantly research funding applications. The feedback from the seminar attendees was very positive and we look forward to more seminars with Clare and the Equality Business in the near future.

Thank you for visiting us and delivering a very interesting presentation as evidenced by our staff’s feedback.  It was certainly important to get a fresh and research-based perspective on gender equality as a very important element of diversity & inclusion efforts.

Dr. Stevo Mijanovic, General Manager,  United Technologies Research Centre, Cork, Ireland

I was impressed by Clare O’Hagan’s ability to strategically address different kinds of audiences and individuals, both national and international  with a clear and consistent message on equality. She was able to condense her vast knowledge on gender equality in academic organizations into workable suggestions, tailored to the needs of her different audiences.

Prof Minna Salminen-Karlsson, Uppsala University, Sweden. Coordinator of the FP7 project FESTA.

The greatest strengths of the workshop are the evidence based research to support the workshop, the practical examples and the presenter did an excellent job.

Elaine Kiely, Careers Adviser, University of Limerick, Ireland

During my work with Dr. Clare O’Hagan ... I was impressed with her evidence-based approach to developing and implementing equality interventions. Her success is due, in no small part, to her careful attention to detail and follow through.

Prof Eileen Trauth, College of Information Sciences & Technology, The Pennsylvania State University, USA.

The workshop provided a good base for networking, the resources available were excellent, good practical advice on where and when to start and the material for take-away was good and handy.

Anushree Dwivedi, PhD Student, University of Limerick, Ireland.

While working with Dr Clare O’Hagan ... I observed her absolute professionalism and excellent presentation skills.  In an international environment, Clare ensured that those at her sessions understood content and were encouraged to participate.  Clare has an excellent breadth and depth of knowledge in the equality area
